When you don't want to insert a rotating mass between the driving and driven elements, a hollow flange reaction torque transducer is the sensor to use. This device enables measurement of static and dynamic torque, even when the device under test is rotating at high speed. Flange-to-flange connections enable in-line measurement, and high quality.

• These sensors have a freely rotating shaft that spins within a fixed housing to measure the torque and resistance being produced by the object(s) being measured.
• When the sensor is mounted and installed the shaft is placed in between the driving mechanism and a load, being the coupling connecting them.
• As the machine moves the stress created is able to be measured. Rotary torque sensors can be found applied to automotive engine testing, drive train measurements, dynamometer testing, electric motor testing and gearbox testing.

The capability is also extendable for the electrical torque tools like screw drivers, by using an attachment for the system. The device captures two different parts of the standard for both the manufacturers and calibrators alike. The system is designed to suffice the verifications of repeatability and reproducibility of the tool for verification and audit purpose. The display unit works as the control with the provision of controlling the motor for conducting the steps as defined in the standard.

The square sizes vary as per the sensor capacity (See next page) where the torque wrench going to be placed either directly or through sockets/adapters
